This was our last full day in Tokyo and the plan was simple: head to Tsukiji market early in the morning, for gift shopping, head to the Imperial Palace and back to Shinjuku. The hotel we stayed in for the last couple of days in Tokyo was 10 minutes away from Tsukiji market. It was the perfect opportunity to see familiar corners and discover new ones, while munching and sipping on some unique Japanese tidbits.
